I want to talk about a very special concert for me, it was my first Lollapalooza, in the year2013.

 I was in the shcool with a friend, and we have seen posters in the streets about the concert, in some moment when we were talking, we think that maybe we can try to go to the concert without a ticket, it was Friday, so the next day we meet at 9 or 10 maybe in Parque Ohiggins subway station.

 I enter tothe park close to the skatepark, but a security guard saw me. Then we were sitted in the grass, a Little sad thinking of going home, and a man who was already inside the park, call to my friend, and says to us, comon, jump or something, you are skinny, so we pased between the bars.

Then the man says to us, that there was no security because it was to early for them, so we started to walk to the inside of the park, then, like at 12 pm the music start to sound, we were so excited with my friend Cesar. We beat the system! 

We Heard a lot of bands, but, my favourites were Queens of the Stone Age and Pearl Jam, they were asome, since that  concert, I been jumping to Lollapalooza since now. But now i jump more secure, like with a worker cloth, it´s very funny, all of my Friends says I´m crazy, they don´t understand how this was my 6 year jumping.

Im going to keep jumping all the next years!!

  Architecture in other profesions

The architecture is one of the oldest disciplines in the world. The human being has the necessity of having a place to live in, a space capable to make them feel protected, safe.




Then, by the passing  of the time, the things started to change, and with that, the objective of the architecture too.
Then the avant garde change the focus of the architecture, passing, in some cases, from being just functional, to being functional too, but decorating at the same time, or using forms which want to express something ,like an idea or something else.

The architecture is present in all places and profesions. This happens because all the other professions need a place to develop what they need to do, for example, a doctor needs to do a surgery, where? In a hospital, who create the form of the building? An architect, all this structure according to necessities of the people who are going to use it and being there later. So it’s not a simple work. Because if you don´t have a place with the features that you need ,your work maybe will not have the quality you want to give it.

So not all the places have the same necessities. A hospital doesn´t have the same structure of a school, for example, the rooms don’t have the same size.

One of the famous architectures who follow this idea, was Louis Kahn, he was an architect who was born in Estonia in the year 1901 (one thousand ninety one). He was from a judish family. Four years after he was born, him and his family moved to the united states because they were afraid of the war.

He studied in the university of Pensilvania.

Louis Kahn doesn´t focus just in the functional, his idea was to give to the buildings “a soul” , like about the essence of the building. He like a lot and try to recreate the old constructures of for example the ruins of egypt, Roma or Greece. He talks too about the geometric figures, like the  perfection of the circle , the solidity of the cube, or the directionality of the triangle.
The engine of his work was the concept of the pure forms. He doesn’t do a lot of work, but they were of a big quality.

Hello, I want to talk about a few places where I went in my vacations. this was a trip to the south part of Chile. This was my first trip alone, I mean I wasnt with my family, I did this trip with one friend, Felipe. We start the trip in central station to take the bus, the first parade was the city of Los Angeles, When we arrived to that city, I remember I forgot to bring the food that we had already bought,but it was because I was with too many things, the bag, a sleeping bag and all that, so we walked to the walmart close to the bus stop and bought some stuff.



Then we were walking to another bus parade to go to the camping, and it started to rain, we cover under a minimarket, then for our luck, we found the bus we need. After a minutes we were in the camping. The next challenge was to rode the tent , it was raining, so it was a Little fun, not so much, but a Little. When we finish to road the tent we just enter into and sleep till the next day. Then we stayed one more day in the camping, the next day we started a trip to a new city. The people of the south was nice and gently. A lot of people took us in their cars or trucks to gave us a ride.

Hello, im am Mathias, im studying architecture, this is my firt year. I love sports, like longboard, kung fu, tenis, and there are other sports i like too. I like all kind of music, but rock music is the one i like more. Im 20 years old, and my birthday is very close, so im a Little scared of getting older, but i feel at the same time that the age is a number, i dont feel so old at all. Im trying now to talk in english with Friends or other persons to feel more comfortable and speak better
